Plot summary :
U.S. Air Force General Jack Ripper goes completely and utterly mad, and sends his bomber wing to destroy the U.S.S.R. He suspects that the communists are conspiring to pollute the "precious bodily fluids" of the American people. Plot summary :
Cidade de Deus (City of God, also known as God's Town) is a housing project built in the 1960's that--in the early 80's--became one of the most dangerous places in Rio de Janeiro. Plot summary :
As an inmate at Leavenworth prison, Robert Stroud has a series of confrontations with the guards and with the other convicts. Plot summary :
When Jake LaMotta steps into a boxing ring and obliterates his opponent, he's a prizefighter portrayed in this Martin Scorsese film by Robert De Niro. Plot Summary :
Ronin is the Japanese word used for Samurai without a master. In this case, the Ronin are outcast specialists of every kind, whose services are available to everyone - for money.
